I believe life is a journey to be enjoyed to the fullest.
I am quiet and very independent and open up when I get to know people although am not a pushover and am inclined to speak my mind when challenged.
I have many interests and enjoy art galleries, theatre and love reading, both novels and non-fiction. I also enjoy Scrabble and other word games/ puzzles and regard them as a good way to exercise my brain. I enjoy baking and cooking and view gardening and walking as good ways to exercise. I enjoy travelling and visiting new places, both locally and overseas.
I am not a sports fanatic and can always think of a million alternate things to do in preference to sitting glued to a TV watching sport although I sometimes watch important games or matches and normally read the media to get a summary of the game and resultant score.

Used to look for a knight in shining armour but realize they are only found in fairy tales so am looking for a friend with whom to go to movies, theatre, walking and the odd meal out and if the friendship results in romance it will be a bonus.
